Wendel is looking to hire an enthusiastic and highly motivated future Network Administrator to Intern for the summer working directly with our IT team out of our Williamsville, NY corporate headquarters. Our internship program provides hands-on practical experience for students while potentially developing the individual to take on a full-time role with Wendel post-graduation.

Internship Purpose

  • Assist in with imaging and deploying network pc’s and laptops.
  • Assist with network print services and support.
  • Provide first level helpdesk support.
  • Assist IT staff with project assignments and system upgrades.

 

Qualifications

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Computer Information Systems.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System, Microsoft Office365, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Server 2013, 2016, 2019.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Services.
  • Experience supporting virtual server environments.
  • Experience in end-user computer and printing support.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to effectively explain technical concepts in non-technical terms.
  • Ability to methodically analyze problems, identify root cause and implement corrective actions.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • Takes ownership of mistakes and is accountable to commitments made.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow.

Hourly range

$17.00 – $19.00

Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. Hourly rate offered will be determined based the successful candidates’ relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The rate offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.
