Wendel is seeking an enthusiastic Project Biller who has strong organization and analytical skills with a high attention to detail to join our team-focused accountant group. This position is out of our growing headquarters in Williamsville, NY. This position will support Project Accountants and offers the opportunity to grow within the accountant team. Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Accountants with coordination, preparation, and quality assurance of project invoicing and maintenance of project accounts.
  • Assists Project Accountants with compliance with internal and external billing deadlines.
  • Assists Project Accountants with project account reviews on a regular basis.
  • Assists with various tasks and special projects as requested by Management/Supervisor.
  • Assists under the direction of Project Accountants/Accounting personnel the preparation of directly related billings, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reimbursable expenses.
  • Serve all clients concerned (internal and external), to fulfill the expectations of Wendel financial/accounting services, and to support the financial accuracy of the Company.
  • In accordance with corporate policies/procedures, develops and recommends methods/approaches for accounting applications and improvements to ensure efficiency.

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • An AAS in Accounting and a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or any post-high school diploma with 5 years accounting experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in accounting methods and mathematics.
  • Microsoft Excel and accounting software experience required.
  • Experience with Architectural and Engineering firms a plus.
  • Strong customer service, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

Hourly range

$ 22.00  – $ 26.00

Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. Salary offered will be determined based the successful candidates’ relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.
