Wendel is looking for a highly motivated design professional that thrives in an exciting and team focused working environment. Wendel is headquartered in Buffalo, NY, but we are looking for someone to fill this role in our downtown Richmond, VA office. The ideal candidate is looking for advancement in their career and an opportunity to grow our established presence in the southeast region.

This position is right for you if:

  • You enjoy ownership of a project. You love to execute project development from concept through construction while working with others.
  • You are seeking to mentor entry level Architects.
  • You want to grow into a senior leadership role.
  • You have a proven record of strong design and detailing skills.
  • You have a 4 or 5 year degree in Architecture.
  • You have 6 – 14 years of working experience in a design firm with strong design, construction document and construction administration experience.
  • You are passionate about Architecture and feel that good design can truly impact the world in a positive way.
  • You have exceptional communication skills, and you thrive at working in a team environment.
  • You have excellent organizational skills.

Salary range

$75,000 – $105,000

Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. Salary offered will be determined based the successful candidates’ relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.
