Erica Grohol, Landscape Designer joins the Wendel Team

We are pleased to announce the addition of Erica Grohol to its Architecture Practice. In her role with the Landscape Architecture group, Erica brings six years of experience in Landscape Design, specifically the application and evaluation of living infrastructure systems and regional ecosystem knowledge.

Erica has consulted in both the public and private sectors, providing landscape design and interpretive elements for ecologically sensitive public access, recreation, restoration, and adaptive re-use projects. She has also contributed to numerous research projects that help further our understanding of living infrastructure, such as her role in the first nationwide bioswale research project that endeavored to monitor the performance of bioswales in cities across the country in order to improve methodologies for their design, positioning and management.

Erica shares her knowledge through regular presentations and publications including the National Estuarian Research Reserve Sustainable Shoreline Design series and studio collaborations with students from SUNY ESF and Cornell University, among others, among others. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her B.L.A. in Landscape Architecture from SUNY ESF in 2015.
