Get to know Joe…
What fundamental business lessons have you learned from your experience as an engineer?
Clear and frequent communication is the key to a successful business relationship.
What is it about the energy engineering field that first drew your interest?
The fact that we can repurpose money in our clients existing utility budgets and use it to improve their buildings/infrastructure is still a terrific concept. The associated greenhouse gas emission reductions that result makes it all the more satisfying. It feels great to know that the work we do really does make a difference in our environment.
Most memorable Wendel moment?
The most memorable moment for me was when I was asked to become a partner. I am so honored and proud to be part of the 75 year history of our company. The current (third generation) leadership is focused on the next 75 years. I think I will be just as proud when the fourth generation of leaders assume control and continue our tradition of excellent work.
