Commonwealth Eye Care Associates hired Wendel to design their brand new West End location in Richmond, Virginia.  With an eye toward a modern esthetic design, CECA’s new location provides their clients with a comfortable and inviting environment. The design included coordinating and overlapping hexagon pattern and texture providing depth and visual contrast. The use of bold accent color, lighting and detail provide ease in wayfinding throughout the clinic.

CECA requested a large and inviting break room that could be enjoyed by their staff. The room was outfitted with commercial refrigerators, beverage centers, and specialty coffee makers and vending. The room also doubles as a large staff meeting and training room. The hexagon theme was carried into the room with a graphic floor pattern that spills into the hallway.
