Wendel Names Four Associate Principals

We are pleased to announce that Christopher C. Abramo, PE, LEED AP BD+C, Dan Goemann, AIA, Daniel J. Marinaro, AIA, NCARB and Dean W. Gowen, RLA, CLARB, ASLA, have been appointed to the position of associate principal. The appointments recognize these professionals for their exemplary leadership and commitment to excellence.

Mr. Abramo is a mechanical engineer specializing in the design and quality of bus maintenance equipment. He is responsible for construction management efforts and the engineering and equipment design on public transportation projects. Chris received his BS, Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and also holds a BS, Physics from the State University of New York at Fredonia.

Mr. Goemann is a leader for Wendel’s K-12 Educational Design Team. Dan provides project management and architectural support throughout the entire design process including; marketing, pre-referendum planning, facility analysis, design, consultant coordination, preparation of construction documents, and construction administration. Dan graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BS, Architecture.

Mr. Marinaro has 30 years of experience and leads Wendel’s southwest presence and private sector architectural design initiatives. As an architect and urban designer, his diverse project work includes urban adaptive re-use, multi-family housing, higher education, corporate commercial, public transportation and mixed use urban design. Dan received his Master of Architecture from the State University of New York at Buffalo and holds National Certification through the National Council of Architectural Registration Board.

As Wendel’s Senior Urban Planner, Mr. Gowen has over 30 years of experience and leads Wendel’s urban planning and design initiatives. As a landscape architect and site planner, his diverse project work includes historic landscape preservation, land use and community master planning, and parks and recreation design. Dean is a graduate of Cornell University and holds a National Certification through the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Board.
