Wendel Names New Senior Associate Principals

Wendel, a nationally recognized architecture, engineering, energy efficiency, and construction management firm, is pleased to announce that the following employees have been appointed to the position of Senior Associate Principal: Amber Holycross, AIA (NY), LEED AP ID+C; Tom Reynolds, PE (NY, CA), LEED AP; Ken Prol, AIA and Jeana Stright, RA (VA, CT), LEED AP, Well AP. This appointment recognizes these professionals for their exemplary leadership and commitment to excellence.

Amber Holycross, AIA (NY), LEED AP ID+C is Vice President of Architecture. She is Wendel’s first female Practice Area Leader, responsible for managing the firm’s national architecture portfolio and team, including over 85 architects and designers. With over 19 years of experience working in the fields of architecture and commercial real estate, Amber leads the practice in the areas of corporate alignment, ethics, culture, client relations, business development, production, and staff development.

Thomas Reynolds, PE (NY, CA), LEED AP is a licensed civil engineer with over 25 years of experience. Tom began his professional career in Southern California primarily working on large, master-planned community projects. Since relocating to Western New York and joining Wendel in 2013, he has successfully managed projects focusing on private development, compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations, business parks, municipal improvements, art, and historical expansions. He specializes in site development effectively navigating projects through initial concept, entitlements and approvals, design, bidding, and construction.

Ken Prol, AIA is a Senior Architect and serves as the manager for the Alexandria, VA office. He has close to 20 years of experience and has been with Wendel for over 13 years. His primary focus is in the public transit sector where he has worked on projects varying in size and complexity from Massachusetts to Florida. He demonstrates flexibility when handling multiple projects simultaneously while also assisting in the development of standards for both the firm and the architecture practice. Ken is team oriented and motivated with strong communication skills.

Jeana Stright, RA (VA, CT), LEED AP, Well AP is a registered architect with 11 years of experience. As a project architect, she focuses on various scales of transportation projects from bus rapid transit stations to bus maintenance facilities. She works closely with clients and design teams to bring a comprehensive approach to projects. Jeana is passionate about how architecture can be both functional and beautiful while positively impacting occupant health and the image of bus transportation in communities. She brings practical knowledge to projects with a sustainability focus as both a WELL AP and a LEED AP.
