This recognition reflects their exceptional leadership and commitment to excellence. Chuck Nesbitt is a municipal operations and strategic planning leader with more than 22 years of experience in state and local government, including nearly 15 years as Chief Administrative Officer for Orleans County, NY. He has guided complex operations in full-service county government and served as President of the New York State Association of Counties and the New York State County Administrators and Managers Association. A recipient of the NYSAC Public Service Excellence Award, Chuck brings expertise in procurement strategy, MWBE compliance, and funding programs to advance water, wastewater, energy conservation, and public works initiatives. Dan Leonard is an urban planner and business development leader of Wendel’s Private Client Sector with 15 years of experience. Dan has partnered with business leaders and communities in the Buffalo Niagara region and nationally, focusing on private investment, placemaking, economic revitalization, sustainable development, and infrastructure improvements that enhance quality of life. He serves on the board of NAIOP Upstate Commercial Real Estate Association, is chairman of the Downtown 2030 advocacy organization , and is active in the American Planning Association. A Buffalo Business First 40 Under 40 award recipient, Dan holds degrees from Canisius College and the University at Buffalo. Elizabeth Colvin is a Senior Project Manager with a diverse portfolio over 17 years spanning across multiple business lines, specializing in corporate projects and public transportation. She excels in managing complex logistics, fostering client and stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and sustainably. Elizabeth is a respected leader and mentor for emerging professionals and an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Buffalo Chapter and the WNY Urban Land Institute (ULI). She serves on the Executive Steering Committee of the Women’s Leadership Initiative of WNY ULI and the Board of Directors for Leadership Niagara, the state’s longest-running leadership development organization. Liz is also active in her community and local non-profit organizations, leading fundraising efforts annually upward of $120,000. Grace Viger is an Equipment Specialist for Public Transit facilities and a Mechanical Engineer with 17 years of experience, nine of which have been spent at Wendel. She leads the selection and coordination of equipment for systems such as vehicle washes, heavy-duty lifts, fueling, and compressed air, ensuring seamless integration into facility design. Grace’s expertise and collaborative approach have made her a trusted advisor on complex projects, including the Greenville Transit Authority’s Operations and Maintenance Facility. Outside of Wendel, she serves as a Village Trustee in East Aurora, NY, and previously held a leadership role with the Buffalo Niagara Chapter of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers. Michael Galley is a Project Manager with 32 years of experience in planning, design, detailing, specification writing, project coordination, and field supervision. Michael has managed projects across residential, commercial, education, and medical sectors, providing comprehensive project and construction management services from design inception through project turnover. His expertise also includes on-site construction management, administration, and inspection for Wendel clients.
