Our organizational structure allows us to provide the services required for a holistic energy management program in-house services.
Wendel’s team can work with your leadership and stakeholders to define a vision, objective, and mission statement for an overarching energy program. This plan will establish a baseline, set goals, develop a timeline, and outline a business strategy to achieve those goals.
Based upon utility history, building usage types, and building area (Sq. Ft), our team will benchmark your buildings against similar buildings on your campus or in your area. Wendel has established a benchmarking process that includes the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) – ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager and data from the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). This data is utilized to perform building energy consumption comparisons. The benchmarking analysis enables our team to quickly access a building’s current energy intensity and target buildings with the greatest potential for savings.
Wendel was selected by the Town of Lancaster to provide a guaranteed energy savings contract that included the conversation of 2,587 street lights to LED technology.
Wendel was engaged by the University of Rochester to develop a Utilities & Energy Management Assessment & Plan for their campus. The goal of the plan was to provide information which can be used to plan for energy conservation across campus. This includes projected capital costs, energy, and greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) savings.
