Structural Drafter

Responsibilities

• Actively work on projects from concept phase to final design and through construction.
• Collaborate and share ideas with senior level staff on those projects.
• Assist with the structural drafting and layout of building systems/components in steel, concrete, masonry, wood, etc.
• Participate in project and team meetings.

Qualifications

• Hold an associate’s degree with focus in Architecture, Drafting, Engineering Technology or Construction Management.
• 5 -10 years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and be detail oriented.
• Experience with 3D modeling software (REVIT and AutoCAD).
• Experience producing structural design construction document for building type structures (preferred).
• Experience developing Revit content including custom families (preferred).
• Excellent PC skills.
• Microsoft Office software experience required.
• Strong desire to learn and grow within the Engineering team.
• Ability to work on-site and travel if needed.

Salary range

$30.00 – $35.00

Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. Rate offered will be determined based the successful candidates’ relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The rate offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.
