Construction Site Superintendent (Meriden, CT):

Wendel is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as our next Construction Site Superintendent. The Construction Superintendent will oversee an entire project site in New Hampshire. This role is slated to start in early spring 2024.

Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the Wendel representative to the Owner during construction.
  • Maintain daily logs.
  • Review installed work.
  • Coordinate with onsite contractors and Owner.
  • Review pay applications.
  • Work closely with the project PM on all related tasks.
  • Create and update construction schedule.
  • Run Daily Plan of the Day meetings (POD).
  • Coordinate and lead weekly construction meetings.
  • Review RFI’s and Change orders.

Qualifications: 

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience working as a Construction Site Superintendent.
  • Competency with all Microsoft Office tools.
  • Superb communication skills.
  • Must have a Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for travel to multiple job sites.
  • Be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Travel overnight to work sites.

Salary Range: $90,000 – $125,000.

Senior Electrical Engineer (Albany, NY, Meriden, CT, New York Metro):

Wendel has an established presence in the Northeast region. We are seeking an experienced and hardworking licensed Senior Electrical Engineer, to lead, organize, manage, and execute Electrical Engineering work within our current project portfolio. This opportunity is available in our Albany, NY, Hauppauge, NY, or Meriden, CT office. We offer a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities will include client relations, project management, internal team coordination, contractor coordination, engineering design and execution. This is a “seller-doer” position, meaning you will have both client management and project design responsibilities. Power distribution experience, including medium voltage system design, is a plus. The project types you will be involved with include electrification, battery electric vehicle charging systems, transit facilities, college and university facilities, and commercial buildings. Wendel has a diverse portfolio of exciting project types in various markets that provides stability and longevity in workload. This is a long-term career opportunity.

  • Provide on the job training support to junior department members.
  • Certifying work.

Qualifications:

  • 10 plus years of Electrical Engineering experience from the consulting industry.
  • Firm understanding of industry standards, regulations, and codes.
  • Electrical Engineering Degree from an accredited 4-year institution is required.
  • PE license is required.
  • Proficient with the use AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Capable of working independently; minimum supervision required.
