Wendel is currently seeking a Mid Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our growing team. This position offers flexibility in the candidates location.

Responsibilities:

  • Process planning, design, and construction administration of medium to large infrastructure projects.
  • Serve as a technical lead and project manager for medium to large scale design and construction projects including distribution system and collection system improvements as well as water and wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation work.
  • Hydraulic modeling of water treatment and storage systems.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or related fields is required, a Masters Degree is preferred.
  • PE is preferred, but we will consider experience and background.
  • The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience in the water discipline, however individuals seeking to leverage a broad portfolio of experience who are interested in becoming focused within the Water market will also be considered.
  • Experience with hydraulics, municipal water and wastewater treatment plant design, and energy usage/analysis.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Willing to work outdoors in various weather at times.
  • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and be available to travel to job sites and client meetings. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Wendel is currently seeking a Senior level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our growing team. This Engineer will serve as both a technical lead and project manager for medium to large scale study, design, and construction projects involving water treatment, storage, pumping and distribution systems. This position offers flexibility in the candidates location.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing, analyzing and implementing water treatment process improvements.
  • Optimization of treatment plant operation systems, including: Pretreatment, Filtration, Chemical, Residuals and Energy systems.
  • Asset evaluation and related long-term capital planning.
  • Hydraulic modeling of water treatment and storage systems.
  • Supplementing utility staff with water expertise in critical situations.
  • Become the trusted advisor to our established water clients and supplement our sales team in the development and securing of new project work.
  • Represent the Wendel Water Group on a regional and national level through professional organizations, technical presentations, and key partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Lead designers thought the planning and execution of design and construction documentation.
  • Prepare Requests for Proposals.
  • Construction administration.

Qualifications:

  • 4 or 5 year Degree in Architecture.
  • 3 – 5 years of working experience in a design firm with strong design, construction document and administration experience preferred.
  • Revit and Adobe Photoshop competency a plus.
