Brothers of Mercy Assisted Living & Memory Care Facility

Wendel provided full-service architectural and engineering design for a new 92,000-square-foot assisted living and memory care facility. Both the assisted living and memory care facilities were designed around the household model, with assisted living having four sixteen-bed households and memory care having two sixteen-bed households. Each household has a fireside lounge, country kitchen, dining space, activities area, and outdoor patio. All units incorporate resident-sensitive design, including a personal display area to make them feel more like private residences. The memory care facility includes circadian lighting to help residents adjust to the daylight phases of the day.
