Osseo-Fairchild School District

Wendel was hired by the Osseo-Fairchild School District to assist with a $3.9 million referendum which passed in Spring 2020. The resulting projects included work at both the elementary and middle-high school.

Due to continued growth of their technical education programs, the Osseo-Fairchild School District was looking to expand its teaching space. Wendel worked with the district to evaluate two different options: addition onto their existing school or building a stand-alone facility. The district decided to move forward with a stand-alone facility.

The elementary school work included remodeling the teacher workroom and toilet facility upgrades, including new ADA toilet rooms. Design started after the referendum passed. Construction was completed in Summer 2020.

The new Osseo-Fairchild Technical Education Center is a 15,000 square feet and features several shop spaces, classrooms and a fabrication lab. The building provides an essential space for the growing technical programs at the Osseo-Fairchild Middle-High School. It also provides the community with the opportunity to use the center and partake in courses.
