Swedish Match, a Swedish multinational tobacco company headquartered in Stockholm established their US Headquarters in Richmond, VA. Wendel was hired to create their new 29,000 sqft headquarters office space in the James Center, which incorporated 2 floors with an interconnecting stair. The design included a visitor sales area and training room set up as a mock store, complete with storefront glass and product display.
The overall space was designed using a modern Scandinavian aesthetic tied to their company roots, with the use of tonal shades of white gray and neutral, natural finishings and layered textures.
