The Energy Performance Contract process is structured to simplify the typical multi-step, time-consuming procurement process required for traditional capital projects.
Installing lower-wattage, long-lasting LED streetlights can cut energy and maintenance costs by 60 to 75 percent while improving overall lighting quality. Modern streetlight infrastructure also creates a foundation for digital communication technologies, enabling Smart City applications that enhance operational efficiency and elevate the community experience.
Wendel was selected by the Town of Lancaster to provide a guaranteed energy savings contract that included the conversation of street lights to LED technology.
