We are pleased to announce the promotion of Joseph DeFazio, PE to Executive Vice President. Joe will continue to run Wendel Energy Services, where he is responsible for the growth of Wendel’s energy efficiency and construction businesses.

As Executive Vice President, Joe will work closely with CEO Stewart Haney and have expanded responsibilities beyond the Energy Services arena. Joe will assume greater responsibility for the overall Wendel strategy and culture including our leadership role in design/build and our geographic expansion goals.

Joe is a licensed energy engineer in six states, including New York, Virginia and Arizona. He has been in the energy consulting industry for over 26 years, 17 of which have been with Wendel. He specializes in design and implementation of energy conservation projects for the Education, Municipal, Water, Wastewater and Healthcare markets. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo. Joe is also a licensed general contractor.
