Interior Designer (Richmond, VA):

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and 3-5 years of experience. Energy/Conservation Engineer (New York, NY):

Role and Responsibilities:

This role will require a dynamic, highly motivated individual. In this position you will be responsible for developing comprehensive energy audits, including data collection, utility bill disaggregation and benchmarking; field visits; energy calculations; cost estimates and contractor pricing, energy measure descriptions and detailed work scope packages; report writing; project design documents, development of measurement and verification plans and contract documents. You will actively lead tasks associated with developing and implementing energy conservation measures (ECMs) across a variety of client sectors and facility types. Responsibilities will include:

Water/Wastewater Engineer (Mid Level) (Williamsville, NY, Syracuse, NY, Rochester, NY):

Wendel, a nationally recognized multi-discipline civil and architectural consulting firm, is looking to hire a full time mid-level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our New York based design and construction team. This position can be located in our Syracuse, Rochester or Williamsville (Buffalo), NY office locations depending on your current geographic location. This position will serve as both a technical lead and project manager for medium to large scale design and construction projects including distribution system and collection system improvements as well as water and wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation work. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 – 10 years’ experience in the water/wastewater disciplines. Bachelor’s or Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related fields is required. A PE is preferred, but we will consider experience and background.

The candidate must have a strong background in water and wastewater process planning, design, and construction administration of large infrastructure projects. Experience should include hydraulics, municipal water and wastewater treatment plant design, and energy usage/analysis. Construction Observer (Williamsville, NY):

The job entails supporting and implementing construction observation requirements for our transportation and civil infrastructure projects based out of our Williamsville, NY office.  Position requires experience in highway construction inspection and utility (waterline, sewer line, storm sewer, and bridge inspection) experience preferred along with knowledge and use of Microsoft Office. NICET Level 2 Certification is a plus but not required. Duties involve construction observation, daily report preparation, preparing accurate and complete field data, and the ability to measure and record installed quantities. You must have your own transportation for travel to multiple job sites.

This position will serve as both a technical lead and project manager for medium to large scale study, design and construction projects involving water treatment, storage, pumping and distribution systems.
 
Project work includes (among other tasks):

     · Optimization of treatment plant operation systems, including: Pretreatment, Filtration, Chemical, Residuals and Energy systems

In this position you will become the trusted advisor to our established water clients and supplement our sales team in the development and securing of new project work. Ideal candidates for this position would have existing experience in the water discipline, however individuals seeking to leverage a broad portfolio of experience who are interested in becoming focused within the Water market will also be considered. This role will require a dynamic, highly motivated individual. A successful candidate is comfortable taking charge, reliable, and disciplined. We are looking for someone who is cooperative and possess a positive attitude. You need to have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with project scheduling and project budget management is a must. Experience with construction management software (Primavera, Procore, Newforma, etc.) and scheduling (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.) is required. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite is necessary.
 
In this position you will be responsible for managing the simultaneous construction of energy conservation measures at multiple projects sites. These construction projects will be primarily focused on mechanical, electrical and controls improvements. In addition, you will assist with cost estimating by coordinating and soliciting subcontractor pricing during the project development phase. You will provide constructability review during the design phase, and lead bidding, negotiation and subcontracting efforts.
 
Qualifications and Education:
· A Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or construction technology/management is preferred.
· 10-15 years of related experience

· PMP is a Plus.
