This Senior Engineer will serve as both a technical lead and project manager for medium to large scale study, design, and construction projects involving water and wastewater treatment, storage, pumping and distribution/collection systems. This position offers some flexibility in the candidate’s home location, but the candidate should live in NYS, ideally the WNY region. Relocation is available.
Responsibilities:
- Become the trusted advisor to our established water and wastewater clients and supplement our sales team in the development and securing of new project work.
- Diagnosing, analyzing and implementing treatment process improvements.
- Optimization of treatment plant operation systems including: Pretreatment, Filtration, Chemical disinfection, Residuals and Energy systems.
- Asset evaluation and related long-term capital planning.
- Hydraulic modeling of treatment system processes and storage systems.
- Supplementing utility staff with water and wastewater expertise in critical situations.

Qualifications:

- Current PE license is required.
