Wendel is looking to hire an enthusiastic and highly motivated future Civil Engineer to Intern for the Summer semester to work directly with our Water and Wastewater team out of our Williamsville, NY headquarters. Our internship program provides hands-on practical experience for students while potentially developing the individual to take on a full-time role with Wendel post-graduation.

Internship Purpose

  • Work on real life projects that are improving water and wastewater infrastructures across the US.
  • Actively work on projects with project managers and other Engineers.
  • Assist with wastewater system analysis and design.

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited institution.
  • Excellent PC skills. Microsoft Office software experience required.
  • Experience with or knowledge of modeling software (WaterCAD, BioWin), water/wastewater treatment processes, hydraulics, and construction inspections is a huge plus.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow within the Water and Wastewater field.
  • Be a student who is a team-player, highly organized, and has strong time-management skills.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel if needed.

Wendel is looking to hire an enthusiastic and highly motivated Construction Management student to intern during Summer 2025 working directly with our Construction Management team out of our Williamsville, NY headquarters. Our internship program provides hands-on practical experience for students while potentially developing the individual to take on a full-time role with Wendel post-graduation.

Responsibilities

  • Exposer to real life projects like the construction of multidiscipline buildings and major infrastructure upgrades.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, Architecture and others on the Construction team to ensure client satisfaction and goals are met on assigned projects.
  • Assist with field visits and project superintendent activities, cost estimating, project management, and contractor pricing.

Internship Purpose

  • Actively work on projects from concept phase to final design and through construction.
  • Collaborate and share ideas with senior level staff on those projects.
