Wendel is currently seeking a Survey Crew Chief to work out of our Williamsville, NY or Rochester, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers on assigned survey projects.
  • Successfully lead a field team.
  • Work on various engineering and land surveying projects such as boundary, topographic, highway and construction projects under the direction of the project manager.
  • Implementing field requirements.
  • Perform related office tasks such as processing and adjusting data, earthwork calculations, boundary line computations and mapping.

 

Qualifications

  • Skilled in the latest survey technology.
  • Applicants should have an Associate’s Degree in a related field (or working towards it).
  • Field experience is strongly preferred.
  • Should be familiar and have experience with Electronic Data Collection, GPS and Robotic Total Stations, and AutoCAD.
  • This position will require working outdoors in various weather and site conditions.
  • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and available to work overtime on an as-needed basis.

Hourly Rate

$25 – $30

Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. Salary offered will be determined based the successful candidates’ relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.
