Pasco County has received funding of approximately $3.5 million from the Federal Transit Administration, to construct a new Transit Operations and Maintenance Facility for Pasco County Public Transportation (PCPT). This new facility will be constructed on an undeveloped parcel of land located south of the intersection of SR-52 and McKendree Road. This facility will be designed for the maintenance of the east side PCPT fleet and to comfortably accommodate employees and drivers in a modern and operationally efficient floor plan. The project also includes the development of a master plan to house the East Pasco Operations for Fleet Management, Public Works – Stormwater, Utilities Field Services and Warehouse Operations.
