Broad Street Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Center

The Greater Richmond Transit Company (GRTC) put together an experienced team to plan and design their Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Center project. Wendel was hired to design the stations, manage public outreach and determine the station locations. Stakeholder charrettes were held in order to help decide between two different station design options while the team worked to select an exact location for each of the 26 stations. Wendel also helped to acquire funding for the project through the FTA and VADRPT.
