Urban redevelopment plan for a large vacant or underutilized parcel just north of Downtown Hartford. This unsolicited planning effort highlighted a major mixed-use focus which aims to restore the urban fabric of the city in a highly visible and accessible section of the city—at the crossroads of two major interstates and adjacent to the Connecticut River. A network of urban parks and walkways is a key part of the framework for this important urban plan.
