The Lakeshore Shoreline Trail is a multi-use trail that follows the Lake Erie and Niagara River shoreline in Erie County. This segment of the trail in the Town of Evans provides a connection between Bennett Beach, Wendt Beach and Town’s Park. Project elements include 2.6 miles of off road multi-use trail, a 72-foot span pedestrian bridge, closed storm sewer system, waterline relocation, interpretive and trailblazer signs and landscaping.

Wendel was responsible for conceptual development, environmental assessment, grant assistance and public outreach for the Trail Master Plan within the Town of Evans.

In addition, we completed Phase I-VI design for the first two phases of the trail including design survey and mapping; ROW survey, mapping and acquisition; trail and bridge design; storm and waterline design and landscape design. Wendel also provided construction administration and resident inspection for the project.
