Urban Neighborhood Infill Plan

Wendel’s Architects and Landscape Architects collaborated on this proposal effort and design competition within Buffalo’s iconic Larkinville neighborhood. Consideration was given to infilling a new multi-story residential development with extensive tenant and public park and plaza opportunities. The proposed development integrated two large urban parcels together, including a pedestrian corridor and open-air courtyard within the residential complex with focal public artwork and possible cafes and retail potential, while also providing numerous recreational opportunities, an outdoor performance area, garden spaces and general “hang-out” areas.
