CNG Facility Upgrades

National Fuel’s Mineral Springs Road CNG fueling station was originally built in the early 1990’s and had become increasingly outdated. As the designer of the original facility, Wendel was once again retained, this time to upgrade the fueling station with the newest technology and state-of-the-art equipment. In addition to the much needed face lift, the current facility needed to be expanded to accommodate the larger vehicles that have become the norm. First, Wendel’s team performed a review of the site’s existing condition before providing conceptual designs. Next came formal construction documents detailing the civil and structural design elements. Key upgrades were made, including a new fast fill station intended for public use to go along with the time fill station that serves National Fuel’s fleet.
