Military & Adolescent Unit – Poplar Springs, located in Petersburg, Virginia, is the largest behavioral health hospital in Central Virginia. The Hospital recently expanded its facility by adding a Military Services Building dedicated to those who serve in our Armed Forces. Also complete is a renovation to the main campus gymnasium and the adolescent acute care unit.

The design objective for this project was to improve the patient care environment for military personnel. This was achieved by creating a comfortable, colorful and non-clinical atmosphere for their recuperation.
