Reynolds Crossing

The development of the Sean Reynolds Building brought the opportunity for Wendel to work with three long standing clients together on one project. The design team worked with Reynolds Development, Virginia Eye Institute, and Dermatology Associates of Virginia to bring to life one of Richmond’s premier Medical Office Buildings. The 40,000 square foot two-story free-standing brick and glass structure was designed with efficiency of space in mind.

The building’s exterior envelope and glazing was analyzed by Wendel’s Energy group to guide the best selection of glazing-types and exterior wall assemblies for best thermal efficiency. The Reynolds Corporation is best known as aluminum produce and fabricator. The aluminum “Reynobond” panels, which is their proprietary product, were specified for the facade.

Wendel’s architectural and interior design teams worked together providing building aesthetics that complimented the tenants’ as well as the developer’s vision for the building. The sophisticated and contemporary design complements the design of the two majority tenants. The building’s footprint supports space for a third tenant.
