Rochester City School District

Energy Performance Contract

When the Rochester City School District decided it was time to implement Energy Conservation Measures for each of its 49 schools, it chose Wendel to identify and evaluate opportunities to reduce consumption costs for systems like heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting. After analyzing the existing machinery and systems, key improvements were made to the obsolete or inefficient ones. From replacing water heaters to installing brand new lighting systems, every opportunity to lower the consumption of oil, gas and electricity was addressed – leaving Rochester City Schools with a true Energy Management System that saves millions in energy costs.
