Wendel led the design and construction of the renovation and adaptive reuse of an existing industrial warehouse building into a state-of-the-art call center facility. The new call center will house expanded call center operations, IT facilities and management offices for SCR. The site will accommodate parking for transit and passenger vehicles. Daylighting was a key element in the design where natural light is visible from all rooms within this low glare working environment.
Wendel met an extremely aggressive project schedule, designing and producing final construction documents in just three months. Wendel then performed construction management as advisor services during an expedited three month City of Chicago permitting process and a nine month construction duration.
