Campus Planning and Focal Plaza

Transformation of existing outdated campus quadrangle areas, into more active, beautiful and functional spaces for the current student community. This first included developing a number of options/alternatives with student input to consider what would be desirable and attractive. The final plan, which has been implemented, includes a new central gathering plaza feature with numerous seating opportunities. A small outdoor amphitheater provides stepped granite stone terraces with wood slat caps for seating, and additional curved granite seatwalls surrounding the plaza. Extensive granite curbing and cobblestone edging provides an innovative method for dealing with stormwater run-off and drainage.
