Wells Coleman, a financial consulting, accounting and tax firm in Richmond Virginia, recently relocated to a 16,500 square foot building.  The renovation included a complete tear-down and new construction of the 2nd floor to include a bright and open reception area and conference rooms.  Both sides of the floor plate were constructed to provide a variety of work environments including open office areas, small meeting booths, a huddle room, and executive private offices with full height glass walls.  The 1st floor includes a multi-purpose room that is intended to function as a training room, large flexible conference area and meeting space.  A large opening with custom repurposed wood barn doors help separate and add privacy when needed from the adjoining large break room.  An overall subtle nod to their name in a herringbone pattern was incorporated into several elements in the design including the carpet, luxury vinyl tile and glass tile.
