Wells Coleman, a financial consulting, accounting and tax firm in Richmond Virginia, recently relocated to a 16,500 square foot building in the Monument Corporate Center Plaza. The interior design was done by Carin Schifano of Wendel in Richmond, VA.

“We specialize in providing a wide range of accounting, tax and financial consulting services to individuals, closely-held businesses and not-for-profit organizations. We have served several generations of families and their businesses, helping them adapt to ever-changing business conditions.” – Wells Coleman

The renovation included a complete tear-down and new construction of the 2nd floor to include a bright, open reception area and conference rooms. Both sides of the floor plate were constructed to provide a variety of work environments including open office areas, small meeting booths, a huddle room and executive private offices with full height glass walls. The 1st floor includes a multi-purpose room that is intended to function as a training room, large flexible conference area and party space. A large opening with custom repurposed wood barn doors helps separate and add privacy when needed from the adjoining large break room.

As an overall subtle nod to their name, a herringbone pattern was incorporated into several elements of the design including the carpet, luxury vinyl tile and the glass backsplash tile.
