Wendel Elevates Four Owners to Senior Associate Principal

Wendel is pleased to announce that Dean Gowen, RLA, ASLA, Tim Dietrich, CEM, CMVP, Christian Creswell, CID, LEED AP, and Tom Duke, CID, LEED AP; have been elevated to Senior Associate Principal. The appointments recognize these professionals for their exemplary leadership and commitment to excellence.

Dean Gowen works out of our Downtown Buffalo, NY office and has extensive professional experience as a Landscape Architect and Urban Planner.  His 30+ years of experience includes projects for parks and recreation design, greenways planning, urban design, waterfront planning, community master planning and neighborhood revitalization, transportation-related planning and streetscape design, historic landscape preservation, brownfields planning, ecological design and environmental planning, and many others. Dean has had the opportunity over the years to work on projects in many states around the USA, and in some interesting spots around the globe. He currently is licensed in 15 states.

 

 

 

 

Christian Creswell is an Interior Designer in our Richmond, VA office. She provides our clients with sound design ideas coupled with a creative approach and works to gain a thorough understanding of the client’s needs. With 18 years of experience, Christian focuses on corporate clients, and helps cultivate and maintain relationships with local real estate brokers and developers. In 2015, she was recognized as one of the Top 25 Women to Watch by CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women).

 

 

 

Tim Dietrich is an Energy Engineer working in our Rochester, NY office. He has been in the energy consulting field for over 17 years and has been involved in over $100M of energy efficiency projects which includes the production of energy efficiency studies, project design and specification, on-site construction management services, commissioning and M&V, including on-site verification and collection of energy use data and computer modeling for existing and proposed building’s energy usages. Tim has developed and enhanced many of the standard energy calculations and master documentation used for energy improvement projects. As a CMVP, Tim has also written and implemented measurement and verification plans for energy performance related projects.

 

 

 

Tom Duke is an Interior Designer working out of our Richmond, VA office as well. A practicing designer since 1982, Tom brings extensive experience in corporate, healthcare, behavioral healthcare, government planning, design and implementation, and is responsible for several of the firm’s major interior design clients, as well as business development. Tom values our team approach and finds reward in developing client relationships while injecting his creativity into every project. Tom has been recognized for his fundraising contributions in helping local Richmond, VA youth at risk.
