The University retained the Wendel Team to design the replacement of the sound and lighting systems in Alumni Arena; home of the NCAA Buffalo Bulls.
Reconnecting a community.
The architectural design was the result of numerous public presentations and open-house forums throughout the design process. Community leaders stated that they wanted this new station to be, “…the standard of construction that we wish to see as the community grows.”
The facility is located on a large open site that provides excellent opportunities for an efficient arrangement of building, parking and site circulation.

This large scale project will restore the historic Decatur Street Car Barn from 1906 and incorporate it into a modern 3-level transit facility.
