Landscape Architect (Buffalo, NY, Rochester, NY, Syracuse, NY, Albany, NY, Washington, D.C.):
Wendel is a growing national multidisciplinary Architecture and Engineering firm looking to hire an energetic and focused Entry-Level Landscape Designer. Candidates should be self-motivated, driven, and comfortable working within a collaborative studio and office culture. Entry-Level Designers are expected to contribute in all phases of project work: from conceptual development and graphics production, to construction documentation and administration. We have a sincere commitment to giving responsibility to young designers in order to build proficiency and confidence within the field with the aim of gaining professional licensure.
With numerous offices located in strategic cities throughout the U.S., our Landscape Architecture / Urban Planning & Design group is based in the Historic Marin Building in Buffalo NY. This position will ideally be located in our Buffalo, NY office but may also be filled in our Rochester, NY, Syracuse, NY, Albany, NY or Alexandria, VA offices depending on your geographic location.
At a minimum, applicants should have a firm foundation in computer design and graphics applications including AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, Vectorworks and Microsoft Office. We are seeking individuals with strong design, communication and hand graphics skills to support our experienced and diversely talented Landscape Architecture group. Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited University in Landscape Architecture is preferred.
