Wendel worked with the Buffalo Urban Development Corporation to develop a Placemaking Strategy for the entire downtown stretch of Ellicott Street.

Reducing energy usage and operating costs at the Empire State Plaza, a large mixed-use facility which houses New York State government offices, a convention center, and retail space.

Rehabilitation of one steel ground, three steel standpipe, one steel hydropillar, and one concrete ground water storage tank including interior and exterior improvements.

This facility renovation is nearly 7,000 sf, bringing quality healthcare services to the community’s children for dentistry and oral surgery.

Wendel oversaw the design and construction of this wetland, which will treat water quality runoff from paved surfaces in the cemetery before it flows into Scajaquada Creek.

Art and transportation come together in this creative and exciting Light Rail Extension project.

Pulse connects passengers to destinations throughout the City of Richmond and Henrico County.

Wendel was selected to replace the chillers and upgrade the boiler plant at OGS's Harriman Campus. The scope implemented includes new chillers with a combined capacity of 10,000 tons, chiller plant optimization controls, a 600 BHP summer boiler, and new boiler controls.

The Iroquois Drive Reconstruction project provides safer access to the campus for the nearly 11,000 daily vehicular commuters including a full-depth pavement reconstruction, establishment of a multiuse path, stormwater treatment and improvements, energy efficient street lighting, and landscape enhancements.

Wendel was engaged by Columbia University Irving Medical Center to investigate current energy & HVAC systems, utility infrastructure, and develop a Clean Energy Master Plan for their campus in Manhattan.
