Wendel helped the Town of Lockport Water District complete a multi-year program to modernize its water system, replacing aging pipes, upgrading valves, and improving resiliency. These upgrades enhanced safety, reduced service disruptions, and ensured reliable water service for more than 20,000 residents.

For more than 50 years, Wendel has served as the Town Engineer for the Town of Newfane, providing comprehensive engineering services for the Town’s wastewater treatment plant, pump stations, and sewer system. Our work spans preliminary engineering, environmental and SEQR compliance, design, and construction support.

Survey, analysis and recommendations on the existing campus led to this one-of-a-kind facility.

The University retained the Wendel Team to design the replacement of the sound and lighting systems in Alumni Arena; home of the NCAA Buffalo Bulls.

Wendel was engaged by the University of Rochester to develop a Utilities & Energy Management Assessment & Plan for their campus. The goal of the plan was to provide information which can be used to plan for energy conservation across campus. This includes projected capital costs, energy, and greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) savings.

The architectural design was the result of numerous public presentations and open-house forums throughout the design process. Community leaders stated that they wanted this new station to be, “…the standard of construction that we wish to see as the community grows.”

The facility is located on a large open site that provides excellent opportunities for an efficient arrangement of building, parking and site circulation.

Honoring the past while looking toward the future of a community.
